Mobile MOBAHow to Understand the Esports Betting Market
Esports betting markets have unique characteristics that differ from traditional sports betting. Understanding the different market types is what lets you make better choices.
Match Winner
Picking the team that will win a match — the basic Esports betting market. Check the form of both teams carefully before placing your bet.
Map / Game Handicap
Adjusts for the weaker team using a Map Handicap. If Team A is given -1.5 Maps, Team A must win 2-0 for that bet to pay out.
Total Maps Over/Under
Bet on whether the total number of Maps played in a match will go Over or Under a given line. Analyse both teams' playstyles in advance.
First Blood / First Objective
Bet on which side will secure the first announcement. You need to properly study the Early Game and Drafting Phase for this market to work in your favour.
Tournament Winner
Bet on the team that will win an entire tournament before it starts. Because the odds are high, check the bracket, Team Form, and Head-to-Head records carefully.
Live In-Play
Place additional bets in Real-Time as the market shifts while a match is live. This makes for a better in-game experience for Myanmar players.
